Representation of the Croatian Tourist Board in France participated in the largest tourist fair in France, Salon Mondial du tourisme, which took place in Paris together with the fair Destination Nature. Along with the HTZ Representative Office in Paris, the Croatian tourist offer was presented by the tourist boards of Split-Dalmatia, Šibenik-Knin, Zadar, the city of Dubrovnik and Krka National Park.
Due to the great interest of the French partners, the HTZ Representative Office organized i SELL Croatia workshop for over 60 French travel organizers and tourist agencies, and the Croatian stand was visited by Senka Burić, charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in France, and Davor Dujić, adviser for economic affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in France. The workshop was attended by the airlines Croatia Airlines, Transavia and Volotea, numerous hoteliers such as Maista, Falkenstainer, Hilton and agencies from almost all parts of Croatia such as Feral Tours, Adriatic, Elite Travel, Amathus, Zzuum Active Vacation, etc.
The French showed significant interest in the Croatian tourist offer, and the Croatian stand with recognizable motifs of Croatian regions was one of the most visited at the fair.
"Participation in the Salon Mondial du tourisme served as an excellent basis for further highlighting Croatia and its tourist attractions in France, which is already traditionally one of our most loyal broadcast markets. We are pleased with the excellent representation of the Croatian tourist offer in numerous package arrangements of the largest and most important French tour operators and travel agencies and the expansion of interest in the introduction of new regular airline routes. The further growth of specialized offers with an emphasis on eno-gastronomy, business, cultural and nautical tourism will surely serve as an additional motive for the arrival of the French to Croatia.", she stated Danijela Mihalic Djurica, director of the representative office of the Croatian Tourist Board in Paris.
