New awards for Croatian extra virgin olive oils.

The New York International Olive Oil Competition - NYIOOC, one of the world's largest and most prestigious extra virgin olive oil competitions, has published the annual list of NYIOOC medal winners, which is an authoritative guide to the world's best olive oils and dedicated producers who skillfully produce them.

1.159 olive oil samples from 28 countries participated in the prestigious competition, so that NYIOOC becomes one of the largest and most comprehensive reviews of olive oils in the world from all over the world. Among 1.159 samples of them 790 brought the coveted NYIOOC Gold and Silver Awards for Outstanding Quality, with an overall success rate of 68 percent.

Croatia is even awarded at the national level in New York 87 samples, and so is Croatia in total fourth in the world by the number of medals for olive oils at the NYIOCC World Competition.

Another amazing success of Istrian olive growers: Gold for 30 Istrian olive oils

These 790 samples now make up the elite list of the world's best extra virgin olive oils in the official NYIOOC range, a guide used by millions of people to learn more about the award winners and the people behind them, including Istria. 37 oils.

A total of 30 olive oils from Istria received a gold award, and another seven Istrian oils received a silver medal. This is an exceptional result that once again confirms the size of Istrian extra virgin olive oil on the world stage.
