Calafell, a city in the Spanish region of Catalonia, has banned the filling of private swimming pools as a way to overcome periods of drought. The drought warning has been in effect for several weeks, and in order for residents not to violate the rule, the authorities decided to resort to modern technology - drones. There are about 2500 swimming pools on private property in the municipality, many of which are hidden behind high walls...
