For the sixth time in a row, Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) and its Falkensteiner brand have secured first place in the Top Gewinn Image Ranking among tourism companies. The Austrian company with South Tyrolean roots also defended its previous ranking according to the overall rating.
This year, for the 28th time, GEWINN Image Ranking announced the most reputable companies in Austria. In addition to selecting the 100 brands with the best image in Austria, the ranking also included companies that enjoy the highest reputation in 15 different industries.
Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) again achieved impressive results this year. In the category 'Leisure/tourism', Falkensteiner was once again declared first and for the sixth time in a row. In the overall ranking, the Austrian tourist company defended its 13th place.
"We are extremely satisfied with the great trust of the Austrians in our company and the Falkensteiner brand. The result of this year's TOP GEWINN Image Ranking once again confirms our chosen path and further motivates us to continue developing projects with even greater commitment.", he said Otmar Michaeler, CEO of FMTG.
At the beginning of the year, for example, the Falkensteiner Hotel Montafon was successfully opened as the first five-star family hotel in the region. The hotel, which is part of the exclusive 'Leading Hotels of the World', received the title even before its opening climate neutral and won points for, among other things, sustainable energy supply and an exciting 'ecotainment' concept for children.
FMTG crowd strategy and Park Resort Lake Garda
Great trust in the brand is also visible in the crowdinvestment campaigns of the tourist group. Since last year, FMTG Invest's own digital investment platform has been a fixed component of the corporate structure.
After eight successful crowd campaigns, it was founded in 2022 as a separate business unit within FMTG. In less than a year, over 25 million euros of capital was realized through FMTG Invest, which is poured into the development of new FMTG projects.
FMTG's latest project is currently being built on Lake Garda in Italy. In the picturesque town of Saló, the Falkensteiner Park Resort Lake Garda should be completed by 2025, with a 5-star hotel as part of the Premium Collection as well as Premium Living Apartments.
Architect Matteo Thun is responsible for the architectural concept and interior design. The project will be incorporated into a botanical park designed by renowned landscape architect João Nunes from PROAP. Aspects such as CO2 neutral mobility and independent energy supply are part of the concept.
