It was officially presented last night at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb seventh edition international guide Gault&Millau Croatia 2024, and trophies were awarded to the best chefs and restaurants in Croatia, the quality of which is assessed by independent inspectors of the guide.

Chef of the year according to the gastronomic guide Gault&Millau Croatia 2024 Marko Đurašević from Split. Three trophies of the Big Chef of Tomorrow were distributed and that Gabriela Filca from Nebo restaurant in Rijeka,  Hrvoj Kroflin from the restaurant Mano2 in Zagreb i To Roko Nikolić from the ZOI restaurant in Split.

The Chef trophy of traditional cuisine went to him Vinko Krnić, from the Konoba Vinko restaurant from Konjevrat, while Brother Sanjin from the Griblja restaurant in Sukošan won the Chef's Trophy for modern traditional cuisine. They won the Young Talent of the Year trophy Antonel Goret from the restaurant Zinfandel Food & Wine Bar in Split, i Marin Pleše, chef of the Villa Rova restaurant in Malinska.

She is the best confectioner Dragana Kovačević from the Spinnaker restaurant in Poreč. The trophy for the best service went to the restaurant Pilgrims from Šibenik, a Boogie Lab from Zagreb won the Trophy for the best POP place. He received a special Trophy for merit Josip Friščić,  from the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb.

Guests  they especially welcomed the gala ceremony  Ingrid Badurina Danielsson, director of the Croatian edition of the Gault&Millau guide, Slavija Jačan Obratov, director of the TZ system and product development sector, and Mirko Herceg, advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.

The best restaurants which earned 4 points in this year's edition of the international guide Gault&Millau Croatia are: 360 from Dubrovnik, Nebo from Rijeka, Monte and Cap Aureo Signature  from Rovinj, Mano2, NAV, Noel, Tač and Zinfandel's from Zagreb and Pelegrini from Šibenik.

This year's Gault&Millau Croatia selection includes 300 top restaurants, 108 POP - popular places (bistros, street food, diners, pastry shops), and a selection of 100 best wines and 20 olive oils from all over Croatia.

 At the Gault&Millau Croatia ceremony, once again, the Raise the Bar Academy scholarships were handed out. 87 participants have passed through the program over the past five years, and so far 18 young chefs and pastry chefs have won valuable scholarships that enabled them to pursue professional training at the world's best schools, such as the Ecole Ducasse. , Le Cordon Bleu and ALMA, as well as internships in some of the most prestigious restaurants.  This year's scholarship winners are: Kate Svaguša from Makarska, Rea Gabriela Vrsalović from the island of Brač, Antonio Banovac from Split and Jela Saban from Zagreb.
