This year's excellent tourist season in Croatia is also confirmed by the results achieved on the most important broadcast markets, among which is the Polish market.

Namely, according to the data of the eVisitor system, Poles have exceeded one million arrivals in Croatia on this day and have achieved 6,4 million overnight stays which compared to the same period in 2019 represents a record year growth of 8% in arrivals and 7% in overnight stays

"Despite all the challenges this year, Poles have shown that they love Croatia. The increasingly demanding economic situation in Poland and the war in Ukraine did not prevent Poles from coming on vacation to one of their favorite Croatian destinations. Thus, Poles have now exceeded one million for the second year in a row arrivals, noting that this year they did it more than a month earlier than last year", she stated Agnieszka Puszczewicz, director of the HTZ Representative Office in Poland, while thanking all tourism entities for their contribution to the realization of these positive results.

Let's add that Poles made the most arrivals this year in Split-Dalmatia, Zadar and Istria counties, and in terms of destinations in Makarska, Omiš, Zadar, Baška Voda, Orebić and Split. From accommodation, they most often chose household facilities, campsites and hotels, while in nautical charter they achieved 26.000 arrivals and almost 180.000 overnight stays, which compared to 2019 represents a growth of 14% in arrivals and 11% in overnight stays.
