Therefore, the statistical data that speak in favor of achieving 5% more arrivals compared to 2019, and 2% fewer overnight stays, are not surprising.

"Although the tourist season is still ongoing, we must be satisfied with this year's tourism results, which are more optimistic than the work plan and program for 2022. Our destination, together with the regional tourist community, first of all prepared the tourist season very well and started on time with promotional activities in Germany and to the Austrian market, which are the winners of the tourist season this year. Furthermore, TZ and the City of Poreč made two tourist presentations on the markets of the Czech Republic and Germany. It was these two markets that gave excellent results this tourist season (+33% and +18%, respectively) By the end of the calendar year, we plan to realize another 350.000 overnight stays, which would exceed all plans for 2022.", announced from Tourist boards of the City of Poreč commenting on these excellent results and thanking the tourist companies, all tourist employees, the City of Poreč and its services, all merchants and restaurateurs and private renters who directly or indirectly participated in the realization of this year's very successful tourist season.
