Members of the Management and Supervisory Board of the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA) had the opportunity to connect with stakeholders of the region that leads the development of year-round tourism on the Croatian coast, as part of a two-day study visit to the Split-Dalmatia County, on February 13 and 14, 2025.
Representatives of travel agencies were hosted by the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board and the Split City Tourist Board, which have been focusing their management capacities on sustainability, authenticity and quality for many years, as evidenced by numerous awards and excellent tourism results.
Therefore, this meeting is an excellent opportunity to connect local stakeholders with tourist agencies, the carriers of organized arrivals in the pre- and post-season, not only to further improve the quality of the tourist offer and services, but also to further strengthen the development of year-round tourism in Central Dalmatia.
"This study visit is not only an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, but also to connect our communities more deeply with key tourism stakeholders. Our approach to tourism, focused on sustainability and authenticity, is not just a targeted strategy, but a reflection of our values and connection to this area. Through such meetings with travel organizers, we want to show that our region is not just a beautiful destination, but a vibrant, dynamic place that offers rich experiences throughout the year. Every moment spent in our county is filled with stories that tell of tradition, people and nature, and our goal is to make these stories even more present and accessible to all visitors. We look forward to continuing our cooperation with UHPA and creating new opportunities for the development of tourism in our region," ishe stopped Ivana Vladović, director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board.
UHPA organizes a study visit to one of the domestic destinations at least once a year. For selected destinations, this is an opportunity to present themselves to travel organizers and open up new opportunities for cooperation.
