On July 12, the most famous and largest European low-cost airline - Ryanair - launched its largest ever flight schedule for the winter of 2023 with more than 404.000 seats for passengers from/to Croatia, at a price starting at 29,99 euros.

"We've received a large number of inquiries about winter 2023 flight schedules from early bird travelers who want to beat the crowds and book a Ryanair flight for their upcoming winter getaway. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, hit the slopes or enjoy the festive season in one of Europe's most breathtakingly beautiful cities, you won't be disappointed with our unrivaled selection of top ski resorts, Christmas markets, seasonal shopping and winter sun destinations on offer at the lowest prices prices in Europe", she said in a press release Dara Brady from Ryanair.

"To celebrate the launch of our biggest ever winter schedule, Ryanair has launched a special seat sale on Ryanair.com with prices available from as little as €29,99", Brady pointed out. However, the airline still reserves the right to change its network.

The flight schedule changes at the end of October and the beginning of March, most often on the nights when the clocks move. According to the announced winter flight schedule, Ryanair will not operate on Christmas Day itself, i.e. December 25, 2023.

One of the key recipes for success is precisely low prices, which is why Europe's largest low-cost airline (LCC) Ryanair has established itself at Zagreb Airport in 2021, and it still offers flights from Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik.

Three lines from Zagreb canceled

However, during the winter flight schedule for 2023/2024, the Irish airline canceled three lines from Zagreb.

According to the available flight schedule, it is evident that the lines between Zagreb and Podgorica, Sofia and Manchester have been cancelled. The last flight on the route between Zagreb and Podgorica available for ticket purchase is on October 26, while tickets to Sofia and Manchester can be purchased for the flight on October 28, 2023 at the latest.

Despite canceling a number of routes, Ryanair will increase frequencies to several destinations for the coming winter compared to the 2022/2023 season. The increase applies to Malaga, Dublin, Gothenburg and Malta.

Flights from Zagreb to Malaga, Gothenburg and Malta will operate three times a week compared to two last year, while services to the Irish capital will increase from three to four times a week.

On the other hand, Bergamo drops from five to four weekly rotations. The frequencies on all other lines outside Zagreb remain unchanged compared to the 2022/2023 winter season, except for Dortmund, which was canceled in March.

The following is a list of destinations and the schedule of Ryanair's weekly flights during the 2023/2024 winter flight schedule. from Zagreb airport:
