Due to the increase in the number of infected, the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia is introducing new measures as of Monday. Some lengthen, not change. 

According to the new decision, public gatherings and outdoor events for more than 50 people (so far 100) will be banned, and those with covid certificates and with the consent of local headquarters will be limited to 200 people, Bozinovic announced at a press conference.

Private ceremonies would be limited to 20 people, some to 30 with the exception of private ceremonies where everyone would have COVID As far as catering facilities are concerned, the most important recommendations of the CNIPH would be more intensively controlled - limiting the number of guests, maintaining a distance of one and a half meters, using masks while sitting and consuming drinks and food, disinfection Secondly, the number of spectators at sports competitions would be limited, and in addition to COVID certificates, spectators could be present. tribune ", said Minister Davor Božinović, reports HRT.

Also, the use of masks would be intensified and it would be an obligation regardless of the possession of a COVID certificate at religious ceremonies, artistic performances, cinema screenings and exhibitions in museums and galleries, and sessions of representative bodies. "The third type of measure concerns the obligation for employers to organize work from home whenever possible. This motivates us when we talk about the state and public sector to provide service to citizens and reduce mobility. The main goal is to slow down, it is not realistic to say that the measures can prevent the spread of the omicron variant. We will do everything we can to slow down the spread and thus give space for medical staff to organize and for everyone who needs to receive health care, said Bozinovic.

School starts normally on Monday as scheduled. There will be no change in the operation of catering facilities.
