In the VIP lounge of the Franjo Tuđman Airport, a ceremonial signing of the Partnership Agreement on the A-CDM establishment project was held. (Airport Collaborative Decision Making) at the Zagreb airport. They signed the agreement Zagreb International Airport, the national airline Croatia Airlines, Havas Ground services i Croatian air traffic control.
A-CDM is a global concept of cooperation of the involved stakeholders/partners of the airport through the process of timely exchange of information, adapted procedures and tools.
On behalf of the airport operator, Zagreb International Airport dd, Nicolas Duthilleul, Executive director and member of the Management Board of Zagreb International Airport dd, pointed out how by signing the Partnership Agreement on the project to establish A-CDM, Franjo Tuđman Airport ranks alongside world airports that use this global concept.
"I want to express my satisfaction with the partnership relationship with other stakeholders, who have recognized the significant advantages of CDM. Our joint cooperation on this project will directly contribute to improving the operational efficiency of the Zagreb airport as well as preserving the environment, which is one of the main priorities of our business." added Duthilleul.
"The synergy of all participants in this international project further confirms the commitment of all partners to the additional improvement of the civil aviation system in Croatia and the world. This is particularly important in the period of recovery of the aviation industry after the epidemiological crisis, and we are glad that all partners in this project will realize multiple benefits which, most importantly, will at the same time enable even more comfortable, smooth and uninterrupted journeys for users of air transport services.She said Davor Mišić, director of traffic at Croatia Airlines.
On behalf of the provider of ground services, the company Havas Zemaljske usluge doo, Mutlu Baskan, the President of the Management Board pointed out that the implementation of the CDM project will hopefully bring benefits to us as a provider of ground services at Franjo Tuđman Airport, as well as to other stakeholders. "It will help improve the timely performance of our activities and better use of resources, which will affect the optimization of costs and the reduction of negative impact on the environment", emphasized Baskan.
On behalf of the Croatian Air Navigation Control Director Mario Kunovec-Varga he emphasized: "With the implementation of the project, HKZP will, through its systems, share with the airport operator the information necessary to optimize the throughput of aircraft acceptance and dispatch at Franjo Tuđman Airport. This will enable our users, i.e. airlines, among other things, to better manage the time restrictions set in EU airspace, which should ultimately result in a reduction in flight delays."
The joint conclusion of all partners is that the application of CDM in the future will optimize the use of available resources, ensure better planning and improve the overall operational efficiency of Franjo Tuđman Airport.
