Aminess hotels and campsites have started the third season of the project "Aminess Gourmet Lab" under the leadership of the project ambassador, chef David Skoka.

The project brings together in one place the greatest experts from various hospitality fields, from education on top quality coffee, craft beer, wine and various culinary and other techniques specific to tourism. The aim of the project is to educate young chefs, waiters, bartenders and other members of the Aminess gourmet team or to invest in raising the quality of their employees.

During April, the project gathers the biggest names in Croatian gastronomy in one place, and trainings are held in the restaurant loop in Novigrad Aminess Maravea Camping Resort. It is important to emphasize that employees from all destinations where Aminess operates participate in the trainings - Istria, the island of Krk, the island of Korcula and the Peljesac peninsula.

"We are proud that for the third year in a row our employees have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from the best professionals in the field of hospitality. Although it is not the best period in tourism at the moment, we want to continue training our employees in order to be ready and even better to welcome guests again when the epidemiological situation allows. With the Aminess Gourmet Lab project, we create new trends in the hotel industry, raise the level of service and enable the professional development of our employees. We are glad that this year Aminess Gourmet Lab was joined by new colleagues from Korčula and Pelješac" statements Damir Čekić, director of food and beverage Aminess hotels and camps.

Participants will gain new knowledge on various topics through education. Chef David Skoko is in charge of demonstrating culinary skills and special recipes from his kitchen, the founder of the cult pizzeria O'Hara Marin Vanjak passes on a rich knowledge of pizza preparation to the participants, and chef Hrvoje Zirojević also teaches his top skills.

The confectionery technique workshop is held by Marko Stojević from the company Higis, the famous regional beer sommelier Zvonimir Pelko talks about craft beer, and one of the best Istrian chefs Robert Perić reveals the secrets of his recipes to the participants. Coffee brewing education is led by a professional barista Francka Josip Novačić, and there is also the bartender Tea Lovreščak who passes on her knowledge to the bartenders.

According to Aminess, their employees regularly participate in other professional workshops, trainings and seminars where they improve their knowledge and skills with top experts.

Aminess Gourmet Lab is an excellent concrete example of how to directly raise the quality of its employees, and thus build a stable team of employees in the long run, with an emphasis on an extremely high-quality workforce. By the way, the story of the launch of the Aminess Gourmet Lab is a continuation of a successful collaboration with David Skok. The idea itself came from "Aminess Wine & Gourmet Nights", exclusive dinners in which chef Skoko with the Aminess gourmet team prepared exciting interpretations of fish specialties with an emphasis on local ingredients.
