Baranja surduci number last day until the 16th Wine Pine Marathon. It will be held, as in previous years, the last weekend in September. Friday, September 24, is again reserved according to the already tried and tested recipe for the "Premium Marathon" when visitors have the opportunity to taste the best of the best, top quality Baranja winemakers.
Saturday is traditionally reserved for the already traditional marathon, for which you get a wine glass, wine tasting coupons and a ticket to the dragon ghats. You can choose where you will start your wine adventure, on the red, green and yellow wine road, ie in the Catholic or Reformed Surduk or in Ružina Street. Whatever you choose, along the way you will meet many marathoners, your paths will intertwine all the way to one goal, and that is a place of good music and top-notch food in the evening.
For those who can’t resist the competitive spirit, there is also a formal marathon winner. The first person to visit all the cellars and return to the start, ie reach the finish line with all the seals, is the winner of the Wine Marathon. But it is the least talked about, the fame is always picked up by those who have a good time. Because the Wine Marathon was created for that well-known sports saying "It is important to participate".
Sign up while there are still places! Feel the autumn in Baranja and see you on September 24th and 25th!
The two-day event will be held at three locations, in addition to the already famous Reformed and Catholic Surduk, there is also Vašarište where, in addition to gastro and eno offer, all-day activities, programs, workshops and music content are offered. Baranja winemakers and restaurants will present their offer, and the number of marathoners will be limited to 2.500 participants.
Registrations are still possible, so book your starter pack at wine link. Experienced marathoners who have years of participation behind them have already booked accommodation in Baranja. Learn from the best and look for a place where after a hard marathon day you can rest.
Anyone who once visited the wine capital of Baranja during the Marathon, always comes back. Because every new marathon is a new experience, whose excellence is guaranteed by top winemakers, breathtaking landscapes, a handful of music and a good vibe offered by dragon surduci.
