Today in Topusko in the presence of the Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Minister of Croatian Veterans Tom Medveda and the prefect of the Sisak-Moslavina County Ivan Celjak, Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac, director of SAFU Dragan Jelic and director of the Topusko Spa Domagoj Mosler, signed a contract for the project "Topusko at the source of health - spa and wellness tourism in a sustainable way".

"Of the available 131 million euros, this government has allocated 105 million euros to the projects of the continent. This is as much as 80 percent of the total allocation. It is important to emphasize that these are grants and that this is the first time that the funds for such investments were secured at all, and that is why I am particularly proud that in this group the largest amount of funds, 17,2 million euros, was allocated precisely for the Sisak-Moslavina County, for the Topusko Spa project", she pointed out Grinjak and added that this project will be the driving force behind the economy of the entire region because it will create new jobs, start and strengthen small and medium-sized businesses, and lead to the improvement of the life of the entire local community.

After the completion of the project, the capacity of the Topusko Spa hotel will amount to 302 beds distributed within 175 accommodation units, of which 112 are double rooms, 54 single rooms, 5 hotel suites and 4 accessible rooms. Spaces for additional content will be arranged in accordance with the development trends of wellness tourism, which is growing at a rate of 6,5% per year.
