Croatia Airlines and Carwiz International continue their successful cooperation through the FLY&DRIVE project

Croatia Airlines, the Croatian national airline, and Carwiz International, the fastest growing Croatian franchise rent-a-car company, today signed the Agreement on the expansion of business cooperation through the project FLY&DRIVE.

FLY&DRIVE is a joint service of Croatia Airlines and Carwiz International in which passengers using the services of both carriers, through a specially created code, get 15% on plane tickets as well as car rental services.

The FLY&DRIVE project started in the middle of last year and in just a few months achieved a significant increase in bookings for transportation services, especially for guests from foreign markets, especially those with a traditional tendency to spend their vacations in Croatia (Germany, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, etc.), but also those more "aviation" markets such as Scandinavia and Great Britain.

In this way, these two Croatian companies, in accordance with the most current trends on the market, are working together on the development of an export tourism product, while responding to passenger demand with innovations and additional services, and ultimately contributing to the growth of the Croatian economy as a whole.

"The expansion of business cooperation with Carwiz International is an upgrade of the successful Fly&Drive joint project, with which, using synergistic effects, we created a recognizable tourist product and created additional market demand. One of the key steps for even greater product availability and recognition is targeted promotion, and with this contract we are strengthening this important segment of the strategic partnership, while at the same time enabling even better mobility for our operational services in the three most frequented Croatian airports. Thus, Croatia Airlines, as a national airline, continues to confirm its strategic importance and the role it plays in the development of Croatian tourism and the economy as a whole." pointed out Slaven Žabo, director of commercial affairs of Croatia Airlines.

In addition to the FLY&DRIVE project, Carwiz International provides 5 branded Suzuki Swift passenger vehicles to the operational services of Croatia Airlines at the airports in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik.

The service is currently available on the markets of Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Romania, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and will soon be available on the Austrian market as well.
