Croatia Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, and the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb in co-organization with the Athens Airport in Athens presented plans to Greek travel agents regarding the connection of the Croatian and Greek markets during this year's tourist season.

Croatia Airlines presented the summer flight schedule in 2023, as part of which the planes of the national airline will connect Athens with three Croatian destinations - Split, Dubrovnik and Zagreb - with direct seasonal flights.

Flights Athens - Dubrovnik - Zagreb are planned from April 20 and twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays, and in mid-May a flight on Tuesdays will be introduced. Thus, passengers on this line will have a total of three weeks of flights at their disposal.

Direct seasonal flights Athens - Split are introduced on May 27, and the planes will fly on that route on Saturdays.

"After the Republic of Croatia acceded to the Schengen Agreement on March 26 of this year and in the air traffic segment, flights between Greece and Croatia can be operated without border controls at airports. I believe that faster, easier and more pleasant travel between our countries will be an additional incentive for travelers to choose air transport for their private and business trips and to use the fastest transport connection between Greece and Croatia, which we offer as part of our product", said Slaven Žabo, director of commercial affairs of Crtoatia Airlines

Croatia Airlines plans during the tourist season connect Croatia with 23 international destinations, that is, 24 European airports, while the planes will fly on 47 international routes.
