Croatia Airlines presented this year's summer flight schedule

New direct lines from Zagreb to Berlin, Stockholm and Tirana, and from Split to Istanbul

Croatia Airlines presents its offer at the ITB fair in Berlin, as part of the stand Croatian National Tourist Board on which it is presented and 20 co-exhibitors, that is, Croatian tourist and other entities. 

Croatian national airline at one of the world's most famous tourist fairs represents this year's summer flight schedule as part of which it is planned to expand the network of international flights from Zagreb and Split and to increase the total number of flights compared to last year by about 6 percent in the peak season.

The network of international flights from Zagreb Airport is significantly expanding with the introduction of new direct lines Zagreb - Tirana, Zagreb - Berlin and Zagreb - Stockholm. Croatia Airlines planes on the new international route Zagreb - Tirana will fly twice a week - on Fridays and Sundays, and passengers can get round-trip tickets starting at 139 euros. Flights on the new line Zagreb - Berlin they are planned three times a week - on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and return air tickets are available at a price starting at 149 euros. Flights on the new line Zagreb - Stockholm will be performed also three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and return air tickets can be purchased for as little as 159 euros.

During this year's tourist season, Croatia Airlines planes will connect the capital Zagreb with 18 international destinations: Amsterdam, Athens (via Dubrovnik), Barcelona, ​​Vienna, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London (Heathrow), Mostar, Munich, Paris, Rome ( via Split and via Dubrovnik), Sarajevo, Skopje, Stockholm, Tirana and Zurich.

Direct flights are also new Split - Istanbul, three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, thus Croatia Airlines provides an even better transport connection between ZL Split and international destinations. Return air tickets are available to passengers on this line at a price starting at 179 euros.

In addition, the seasonal flights Split - Oslo and Split - Skoplje, which were introduced last year, have been rescheduled, so that during this season Croatia Airlines aircraft will connect ZL Split with 21 international destinations, i.e. 22 airports - Amsterdam, Athens, Vienna, Berlin , Bucharest, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Copenhagen, London (ZL Gatwick and ZL Heathrow), Lyon, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Skopje, Stockholm and Zurich.

Iz Dubrovnik direct international flights are planned to seven European metropolises - Athens, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome and Zurich, and in domestic traffic to Zagreb and Osijek.

Year-round flights Rijeka - Munich and Osijek - Munich continue.

In addition to the expansion of the international flight network, Croatia Airlines continues to provide air connectivity to Croatian cities and regions with its regular domestic flights, which includes flights to 7 Croatian airports (Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Pula, Osijek, Bol na Brač ).

During the tourist season, it is planned to connect Croatia with a total of 28 international destinations, i.e. 29 European airports, and Croatia Airlines planes will fly on 50 international routes. In total, more than 17.200 flights are planned, and there will be almost 2 million seats on offer.  

Flights on certain seasonal lines will start at the end of March this year, that is, earlier than last year, and will be operated until October 2024, with which the national airline will further contribute to the extension of the tourist season in Croatia.

Croatia Airlines expects to deliver the first new A220 aircraft in the middle of this year, which will begin the renewal of the entire fleet with new and more technologically advanced aircraft in the market segment of 100 to 150 seats. Compared to previous generations of aircraft, according to the manufacturer, the Airbus A220 is equipped with the latest generation engines that reduce noise per seat by 50% and have 25% lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and 40% lower emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Of course, passengers can also expect higher travel comfort. In addition to flying in new and quieter aircraft, they will also have other benefits during the flight, such as internet access, mobile phone chargers (USB A and USB C) in each seat and a more comfortable passenger cabin.

The network of international and domestic flights of Croatia Airlines during this year's tourist season has been adapted to the market demand for air transport services, and by expanding the network of destinations and increasing the number of flights, the national airline plans to make a strong contribution to the development of the Croatian tourist product and the improvement of the transport infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.

The announced airlines of Croatia Airlines, our long-standing strategic partner that connects Croatian airports with numerous and important for Croatian tourism, will also contribute to the achievement of the stated goals destinations", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, adding that Croatia is expected to retain its extremely competitive position on the German market this year as well.
