Dalibor Cvitković, Mali Lošinj: With an excellent price-quality ratio, we want to justify the trust of our guests

IQM Destination Lošinj excellent results in the first six months of 2023.

By collecting reviews and measuring and analyzing the opinions of guests as part of it  "IQM Destination - Integrated Quality Management", Lošinj records excellent results in the first six months of 2023!

Based on a total of 4.566 reviews in the period from January to June 2023, guests rated the quality of services and products in the destination as 90/100, and in certain segments, higher quality was recorded compared to the previous year 2022. 

Thus, based on 385 reviews, the guests rated the attraction with a quality of 91/100, which is 3%  a better result compared to the previous year 2022.  Lošinj campsites record a quality of 89/100 based on 366 reviews, and hotels 91/100 based on 1.805 guest opinions, which is a high quality score. 

Hospitality facilities in the area of ​​Lošinj this year also recorded a 3% better rating compared to the previous year, with a quality of 90,5/100, and an increase in guest reviews by as much as 17% was recorded, so that in the first six months 2.182 reviews were published .

Locations, services, professional approach to the guest, courtesy and speed of service, as well as the very appearance of catering establishments, were positively evaluated, and the price-quality relationship, i.e. the price of products in catering establishments, which is not relevant to quality, is cited as room for improvement, according to certain guests.

It was noticed that the portions were reduced compared to the previous year, and the quality of certain foods in certain establishments does not follow the price increase, which is a guideline that there is always room for improvement. This is also an opportunity to correct business details in the second half of the year, based on the opinions of guests and the situation on the tourist market. 

"In the first half of 2023, based on the results obtained, we can conclude that the guests were extremely satisfied with the service provided in the destination. We should all strive for a quality rating of 90/100 at the destination level, that is, increase it and exceed the destination average as leaders in tourism. We will follow you continue to monitor destination quality results, as well as strive for an excellent price-quality ratio in Lošinj tourism",  considers Dalibor Cvitkovic, director of the TZ of the City of Mali Lošinj.

Even 70% of Lošinj stakeholders respond to their reviews, which is encouraged, both positive and negative and neutral. It is necessary to establish communication and increase visibility among all current and future visitors.

The second half of 2023 is an opportunity for all stakeholders in Lošinj tourism to achieve min. destination result and be part of the excellence that Lošinj tourism strives for.

By the way, in the "Integrated Quality Management" project called "IQM Destination Lošinj", which includes numerous stakeholders in the area of ​​the destination, periodically reports on the quality of service and guest satisfaction with tourism in the area of ​​Lošinj. Results and measurements are periodically compared with last year's results, and thanks to the obtained results, the necessary improvements can be introduced.
