Dubrovnik Airport points out that regardless of the fact that Croatia, Airlines, Lufthansa and EasyJet already operate regular flights to these destinations, the opening of Transavia Airlines routes brings a significant increase in traffic and better and more intensive connection of Dubrovnik with three very important destinations in Western Europe.
Also from April 2016, Volotea, an airline for small and medium-sized European cities, introduced flights on the route Dubrovnik - Nantes, as well as flights on the route Dubrovnik - Marseille. By opening these two lines, the company offers 82 flights from Dubrovnik to Nantes and 80 flights to Marseille.
