Over 483 unique airlines are expected during the summer season

According to the information that is Croatian tourist agency collected from Croatian airports, Croatia will be connected with more than 483 unique airlines.

"Air transport is extremely important in connecting Croatia with the world, especially the far south of Croatia with emission markets. The large number of airlines confirms the popularity of Croatia on the tourist map of the world and is a continuation of the positioning of Croatia as an air destination well connected to foreign airports", he said Christian Stanicic, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, adding that if all planned lines are realized, it would represent a double-digit growth rate in the number of air operations compared to the summer flight schedule of 2022.

During the summer flight season, direct connections are planned with 130 cities which is ten more than the summer flight schedule for last year's season. The largest number of direct air lines will connect Croatia with Germany, Great Britain, France, Holland and Italy.

Looking at the available data and announcements, airports expect the largest number of air operations Split (32%), Zagreb (30%) i Dubrovnik (22%). During the summer flight season, direct connections between Croatia and 38 states mainly from Europe, while connections to destinations on other continents are planned from the market USA, Canada, Israel, Qatar and UAE.

Looking at the airlines, it is planned that they will fly on routes to Croatia 57 different airlines compared to about fifty who planned flights during the comparable period of 2022, and during the summer flight schedule the most operations are planned by carriers such as Croatia Airlines, Ryanair, Easyjet, Eurowings i Lufthansa. Some of the "new" of regular, low-cost or charter carriers this year are Aeroitalia, Air Connect, Braathens Airlines, Enter Air, Jettime, Peoples Viennaline, etc.
