The Tourist Board of the Town of Mali Lošinj announces a series of excursions "Meet the Apsyrtides" and numerous others activities intended for renters.

In March of this year, four excursions will be organized on Saturdays that are designed as educational and inspiring experiences, giving renters the opportunity to learn about different aspects of local culture, history and natural beauty.

On the first Saturday, March 2, they will visit Istria, the cities of Hum and Motovun, their wineries and museums, and a costumed walk through Motovun is a special feature. This excursion was organized so that the renters from Lošinj could get to know examples of good practice in tourism outside the island. Saturday, March 9, is reserved for an educational walk in Mali Lošinj called "All about Čikat" with an emphasis on natural and cultural-historical heritage. After that, on March 16, there will be a boat trip to the island of Unije, where participants will explore the beauty of this hidden gem. The last excursion in March is reserved for the island of Cres, on March 23, with a tour of picturesque places such as Lubenica, Loznati and the town of Cres.

In addition to the organized excursions, a public call for applications for the financing of marketing activities was also published. The aim of this co-financing is to follow market trends and ensure the competitiveness of Lošinj renters by raising the quality of their services and better and more modern promotions on the market.

In addition, in April, the traditional distribution of seedlings will be organized as part of the support program, as well as the Renters' Forum, where all news in the business will be presented.

With more than a thousand (1.104) registered renters and 6.352 beds, private accommodation forms a significant part of the total tourist infrastructure on the island with a share of 19,2% of all overnight stays last year.

"The efforts we invest in the promotion and improvement of the quality of private accommodation are key to the further development of tourism on the island. This includes various marketing activities, encouraging renters to improve their facilities, providing education on hospitality and quality service, as well as cooperation with the local community as would ensure the sustainable management of tourist resources. All these activities can contribute to improving the guest experience and strengthen the tourist attraction of Lošinj in the long term.", he pointed out Dalibor Cvitkovic, director of the Tourist Board of the City of Mali Lošinj.
