The deadline for online applications for the Annual Croatian Tourism Awards has been extended

Until the end of August, Croatian tourism workers and all other stakeholders from Croatian tourism could register destinations, tourism workers or subjects for Annual Croatian Tourist Awards, and due to extremely high interest, the deadline for online applications has been extended until Tuesday, September 5, 2023 until 23:59 p.m.

It is about awards that they award together Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Croatian tourist agency i Croatian Chamber of Economy, and the place of award will be this year's Days of Croatian tourism, which will be held in Rovinj November 9 and 10. Also, we remind you that this year the awards are given according to a new concept, that is, in new categories.

The new concept implies allocation joint awards for tourist event of the year, tourist arrangement of the year, gastronomic experience of the year, hotel and camp of the year, and prizes will be awarded in active, cultural, nautical, business, rural and health tourism, as well as prizes for Unique accommodation of the year and tourist destination of the year ( Champion of Croatian tourism). Applications are also being accepted for prizes Croatian National Tourist Board in the People in Tourism category, i.e. for "Man - key to success, employee of the year", "Anton Štifanić" and Lifetime Achievement Award.

The received applications will be evaluated by a special evaluation committee composed of representatives of the organizers, as well as representatives from the academic community and the profession. Business entities such as hotels, camps, private renters, OPGs, marinas, charter companies, hostels, spas, special hospitals, travel agencies and restaurants can apply, up to various themed roads and routes, events, circular trips, but also tourist community, DMK and in general tourist destinations and professional associations. Let us add that those stakeholders who develop sustainable, responsible, inclusive, accessible, innovative, year-round, resistant, competitive and regionally balanced tourism will be especially valorized during the evaluation.
