When creativity and the desire to preserve our planet come together, true small masterpieces are created.
Venue: Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala, a premium resort not far from Zadar well known for its green philosophy and ecological sustainability systems.
At the creative workshop at Hotel & Spa Iadera as part of the project "By the sea for the sea: a green mission for the sustainable future of Croatia", Franka Batelić, David Skoko, Ivan Dečak, Dino Dragija, Kristijan Iličić, Marijana Batinić and the rest of the fishing nets and made original handbags from braided ropes.
"We are very satisfied with the first edition of the project. Thank you to everyone who supported us in this important step of preserving the Adriatic and creating a sustainable future. The connection with the Provir project happened a year ago, when Božidar Blaslov started researching how and where fishing nets are disposed of and recycled. This led him to me and the information that I have already launched two collections made of ECONYL®, a material created from discarded fishing nets. So far, this initiative has collected 21 tons of fishing nets and nylon waste and turned them into a new raw material.", said the fashion designer Kristina Burja.
