From September 9 to 18, Vinkovci will hear the sounds of a tambourine and the chirping of daughters-in-law

Everything is ready for this year, 57. Vinkovci Autumns which will be held of 9. to 18. September with a theme "Plain, we are all in the ears of golden grain!" with a rich program that will be dominated by traditional events, but also some new ones, announced at yesterday's press conference the mayor of Vinkovci Ivan Bosančić.

Just over two months remained until the start of one of the largest traditional events in this part of Europe. "Come to Vinkovci, come to the 57th Vinkovci Autumn!", called the mayor Bosancic citizens of Lijepa naša, adding that this year's Vinkovci autumn event offers a whole bouquet of traditional customs, folklore and everything that makes up the traditional heritage of the Croatian people, but also entertainment - in any case, something for everyone.

"It is customary to instruct our citizens and their guests at the beginning of summer in everything we have prepared in this Olympics of traditional culture, when Vinkovci becomes the center of the world for ten days. I believe that the people of Vinkovci will be the best hosts and that, after two years of the crown, we will enjoy the most beautiful event so far ", said today the president of the Organizing Committee, Mayor Ivan Bosančić.

The heart of Šokadija will beat again this time through our folklorists who will open the County Folklore Festival on Friday, September 9th. As announced by the secretary of ZAKUD Stjepan Đurković, about 15 KUDs from the Vukovar-Srijem County will perform by September 10, and everything is ready for Children's Autumn on September 11 and 2500, when in the old place - on Trg Vinkovačkih jeseni the Inter-County Festival of Children's Folklore Groups and the Parade of Children's Folklore Groups will be held, in which XNUMX small heirs of a long-standing tradition will parade.
