Croatia, along with Denmark, currently has the lowest weekly incidence in the EU. But the virus is still present, caution and responsible behavior are needed. It is possible to operate catering facilities on terraces and open spaces, in compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures and recommendations of the CNIPH, announced Prime Minister Andrej Plenković today at the 45th session of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
Also, Plenković announced the continuation of measures to preserve jobs.
In order to remain responsible in the way we try to protect citizens from coronavirus, after a series of consultations with all departments, the intention is to enable the operation of restaurants on terraces and open spaces from March 1, with the prescribed epidemiological framework, announced the Prime Minister and added that the members of the Civil Protection Headquarters will talk about it in more detail tomorrow.
544 new cases in the past 24 hours, in hospitals a total of 790 people
In the past 24 hours, 544 new cases were recorded, so the number of active cases in Croatia today is a total of 2.933. Among them, 790 patients are in hospital, of which 70 are on a respirator. In the past 24 hours, 278 people recovered and 6.433 were tested.
