A real treat for all cycling enthusiasts - the Zadar Granfondo Falkensteiner Borik race - will take place October 21th along an impressive route in the northern part of Zadar County.
The race is intended for all generations and levels of physical fitness, from professionals to recreational players, and competitors choose whether to compete in the shorter race of 56 or the main Granfondo race of 112 kilometers.
Over 300 competitors from 20 countries
The fourth edition of this cycling spectacle will take the competitors to some of the most beautiful, but also very challenging roads. The participants of the race, which this year will be more than 300 from as many as 20 countries, will start and finish the ride in front of the Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik hotel.
"Our race grows every year and becomes a more beautiful sports and tourist postcard, which will be sent to more than twenty countries around the world this year. Among the many pedaling enthusiasts, there will be famous faces like Alexander Steffens, who won the 2018 Granfondo world championship category, then the best Croatian cyclist of all time Mia Radotić and last year's winner Nicolas Gojković, who is playing for BK Zadar this season", he said Toni Dujmenović, race director.
For all those who want intensive training before the race, a cycling camp has been organized from October 18 at Falkensteiner Premium Camping Zadar.
From bicycle storage, special discounts for wellness services in the Aqua Pura Spa center, to daily training and guided cycling tours with a group - everything you need to prepare for the upcoming cycling challenges can be found here.
Race participants are provided with excellent accommodation, top-quality food, relaxation and various forms of recreation at the Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik hotel. For those who come with their families, a special children's program is organized during the race.

Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik is located right next to the sea in a beautiful pine forest. For those looking to relax, there is a 2500 square meter wellness center with a sauna and steam bath, a Finnish sauna, heated indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub. For those who like an active holiday, there are water sports, tennis and beach volleyball courts available.
Temporary closure of traffic
Roads on the route of the race will be temporarily closed to traffic.
The streets Put Matije Gupca, Put Dikla, Krešimirova obala and the intersection at Žmirići will be closed from 9:55 to 10:05, 11:10 to 11:35 and 12:30 to 13:15.
The streets Vukovarska ulica, Put Grgur Ninsko, rotor, Zadarska ulica and Kraljičina put in Nin will be closed from 10:45 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 13:45.
