How does digitization affect workers and jobs in tourism and hospitality?

The Association of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia / The Croatian Tourism and Service Union are conducting an analysis of the effects of digital transformation on jobs and trade union activities in the tourism and hospitality sector. The goals of the analysis are to advance the understanding of the impact of digital transformation on the tourism and hospitality sector. With this questionnaire, we want to investigate the attitudes of workers in tourism and hospitality companies about the impact of the application of digitization on workers and workplaces.

"Digital transformation in tourism and hospitality increasingly changes business processes and the way of communication with guests. But how does digitization affect workers and jobs in tourism and hospitality? Does it increase requirements and change the necessary skills? Does the application of digitalization create new jobs , and maybe it will eliminate some jobs in tourism and hospitality? If you are employed in tourism and hospitality, please fill out a short online questionnaire, which is anonymous.
