Croatian tourist agency participates in the largest and most important business tourism fair in France IFTM TOP FRINGE which takes place from September 17 to 19 in Paris. On this occasion, the entire domestic tourist offer was presented, all with the aim of strongly promoting our country as a safe and attractive destination, both for leisure trips and for business tourism. This year's edition of the fair brought together more than 200 representatives of destinations, 1700 tourism brands and 34 professionals from the tourism sector from all over the world.
"The never-greater interest of the French in Croatia is confirmed, among other things, by the results achieved so far this year, i.e. more than half a million arrivals and almost two million overnight stays by the French in our country, which compared to the same period last year represents a 4 percent increase in arrivals and 5 percent in overnight stays. The new direct flights from France to Croatia certainly contributed to the increase in French tourists, and we should not forget that French tourists are among our most numerous guests in the pre- and post-season.", she stated Danijela Mihalić Đurica, director of the HTZ Representative Office in France, adding that Croatia has never been more accessible and attractive to French tourists.
Uz Croatian National Tourist Board i its Representative Office in France six Croatian co-exhibitors are also presented at the fair, among them the tourist boards of Dubrovnik-Neretva and Šibenik-Knin counties, the tourist boards of the cities of Zagreb and Dubrovnik, Plitvice Lakes National Park and Croatia Airlines. For numerous agents, journalists, bloggers and travel influencer, a welcome cocktail was also organized during which the emphasis was placed on the diversity of wine-growing regions through the tasting of top Croatian wines. During this three-day business event, numerous meetings with travel agents, tour operators and airlines are scheduled, among which Transavia, Air France, Volotea and others.
