At the very beginning of the meeting, director Staničić presented the course of the season so far, thus emphasizing that in Croatia so far this year, over 9 million arrivals and 41 million overnight stays have been achieved, which is 12 percent more arrivals and 6 percent more overnight stays than last year, while in the part of July, about 2,3 million arrivals and 13,5 million overnight stays were achieved, which is at the level of July last year. As Director Staničić further said, good results and trends are expected in the rest of the year, and he assessed the application of the new Strategic Marketing and Operational Plan of Croatian Tourism, which defines a new promotional strategy and goals until 2027, as particularly important.

"In the future, our promotional strategy will strongly build on the goals defined in the Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy, and at the beginning of the year we expect the implementation of the new Tourism Act. Our long-term plans include strong, high-quality and recognizable Croatian tourism based on the principles of sustainability, because that is the only way we can maintain, or further improve the level of quality of our guests' stay, as well as the services provided", he stressed Stanicic.

The satisfaction during the season was also confirmed by Mihaela Kadija, the director of the TZ Zadar County, who emphasized that at the county level in the current part of the year, around 860 thousand arrivals and 5,3 million overnight stays were achieved, which compared to last year represents an increase of 8 percent in arrivals and 4 percent in overnight stays.

"I'm glad that during the coordination we specifically focused on the topics of the further development of Croatian tourism. In this sense, we all have common goals, and the Zadar County, together with all tourist associations, will make a strong contribution to the establishment and implementation of new development and sustainable principles That this is the case is also confirmed by the analysis already carried out at the county level, which gives us an insight into the state, that is, the evaluation of the state of sustainability of tourism in Zadar County.", she stressed Kadijah.

The meeting also discussed promotional activities until the end of the current year, especially on the German market, but also on distant markets such as the USA, on nautical tourism and the promotion of nautical, but also on numerous current tourism challenges such as the increase in the prices of tourist services in certain destinations, non-declaration guests and others
