The island of Hvar has always had its place on the world film scene and is a great place to make movies and series.
So last summer, the American reality show was filmed, one of the most popular global reality shows of all time, and it was filmed in the town of Hvar and in the Hotel Amfora. It is a show that has won over thirty countries around the world The Bachelor, or Mr. Perfect.
The episode will be broadcast on Monday, February 14, on the program of the popular American television company ABC. It will show the picturesque island of Hvar, which was named the best island in Europe by the prestigious magazine Condé Nast Traveler, while the Amfora Hotel will host reality stars for a full week.

In a few years, film tourism has become a new travel trend for many tourists who want to take pictures or visit the locations of their favorite movies or series. However, the island of Hvar was recognized as a world film location some fifty years ago, when the feature film Depth was made by the famous American director Orson Welles.
The Odyssey, about the most famous underwater explorer, Jacques Cousteau, was also recorded. Much of the filming took place in locations in the town of Hvar, Jelsa, Stari Grad and the Pakleni Islands. A few years ago, an advertisement for Jean Paul Gaultier was shot on Hvar, which includes beautiful scenes from the pebble beach Dubovica and the popular Hvar promenade in the center of Hvar.
The American show WAGS Miami - the wife of American athletes - has been filmed since reality. Filming took place all over the island, and in the hotels Amfora and Adriana. Reality was shown on E! Entertainment, part of NBCU Universal.
At the same time, the Bitan reality show Made in Chelsea was filmed, which included various island locations and served as an excellent advertisement that attracted young Britons to this desirable destination. The popular NetFlix culinary series Somebody Feed Phil was also filmed in September last year. The filming took place at locations in the Palace Elisabeth Hotel and in the town of Hvar.
