After the completion of the second phase of the investment cycle that Imperial Riviera started in 2019, the Valamar Meteor Hotel 4 * in Makarska was successfully reconstructed and renovated.

The investment of Imperial Riviere is worth a total of 85 million kuna, and the famous Makarska hotel received a number of new facilities and even higher quality accommodation. With its offer, Valamar Meteor Hotel is market-oriented primarily on the segment of families with children, guests looking for an active vacation and athletes of all profiles, and it opens its doors on the eve of the Easter holidays.

The investment in the Valamar Meteor Hotel included the construction of a new outdoor pool and the expansion of the existing one with new facilities and attractions adapted to family vacations, as well as the refurbishment of the indoor pool with a wellness center that will work within Valamar's Sun & Spa concept.

After 111 rooms were renovated in the first phase of the investment, in the second phase the arrangement of the other 160 modernly equipped rooms was completed. Children's clubs have been renovated and additionally equipped, and Valamar's new concept of a hotel restaurant - Mediterraneo - has been implemented. The MICE zone with a total of 100 seats has been arranged and equipped, the terrace has been reconstructed, the access to the hotel and part of the parking lot have been arranged, and horticulture has been improved.

Hotel Valamar Meteor, like all other Valamar facilities has been implemented In the Health & Safety program, and all facilities have and V Health & Safety Manager which is available to guests 24/7 throughout the stay. The V Health & Safety program includes ii V-CARE GUARANTEE - a new package of health care measures with the aim of avoiding unpredictable situations during holidays.

This package for Valamar's guests includes the organization of RAT (antigen) and PCR testing, online medical consultations 24/7, health care service in the facility or health institution, covering the costs of possible extended stay of COVID-19 patients and their accompaniment, and covering the cost of return travel by public transport.
