27 different airlines will fly to Croatia

According to the information collected by the Croatian Tourist Board from Croatian airports, during the winter flight schedule, Croatia will be directly connected with 28 countries.

The largest number of direct air lines will connect Croatia with Germany, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands i United Kingdom. In addition to European countries, Croatia will also be directly connected to destinations on other continents, such as the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. 

"I am extremely glad that this winter season we expect more than 150 unique airlines, while last year there were 118 in the same period. The importance of air traffic for Croatian tourism is unquestionable, especially when it comes to connecting Croatia with key emission markets outside the summer season. By introducing new airlines and a greater number of direct flights that cover the main European metropolises, we are making our destinations closer and more attractive to numerous guests.", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, adding that quality connectivity by air is one of the basic prerequisites for the further development and positioning of Croatia as an attractive year-round destination.  

The foreign cities for which the strongest connection is planned are: Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Amsterdam and London, while direct connections with 69 foreign cities. Taking into account the available data and announcements, the largest number of air operations is expected Zagreb Airport (65 percent), followed by Split Airport i Zadar Airport with an equal share of 12 percent. 

Looking at the airlines, it is planned that they will fly on routes to Croatia 27 different airlines, and during the winter flight schedule, most operations are planned by carriers Croatia Airlines, Ryanair, Trade Air i Lufthansa.
