Income from foreign tourists in the first 9 months of 2023 12 billion and 972 million euros

According to data from the Croatian National Bank (HNB), in the third quarter of 2023, revenues from foreign tourists amounted to 9 billion and 123 million euros, which represents a growth of 7,7% compared to the same period in the record year 2022, that is, 653,3 .XNUMX million euros more.

Overall, in the first nine months of 2023, revenues from foreign tourists amounted to 12 billion and 972 million euros, which represents an increase of 11,4 percent compared to the same period in 2022, i.e. 331 billion and XNUMX million euros more. 

"After nine months, the trend of growth in income from foreign tourists continued, and we are particularly pleased with the excellent tourism indicators in the post-season, which shows that we are on the right track to achieving year-round tourism. On this occasion, I would like to thank once again all employees in the tourism sector for their effort and commitment and I congratulate you on the excellent results achieved in the tourist year",  pointed out the Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac.
