Investments in raising the quality of accommodation facilities are extremely important for the tourism of the Split-Dalmatia County

In the Split-Dalmatia County, Aminess and Bluesun announced new investments and a significant increase in the quality of accommodation.

Travel company Aminess she officially took over the management of the new hotel Aminess Khalani Beach Hotel in Makarska, which was built under the name Hotel Romana, while from Sun hotels in 2022 announced the increase of quality and services in their facilities in Tučepi, Brela, Starigrad Paklenica and Bol on Brač.

Aminess Khalani Beach Hotel is majority owned by the Auctor Group, and Aminess dd, which is also part of the group, will be in charge of managing the new hotel. The hotel is still under construction and its opening is planned for the 2022 season, the company said.

We welcome every announced investment in raising the quality of accommodation facilities, especially hotels of the highest category, he points out Joško Stella, Director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board and adds that Aminess Hotels and Camps announces that Aminess Khalani Beach Hotel will be the first five-star hotel in the Aminess portfolio.

"This is extremely important for the tourism of the city of Makarska, but also the Split-Dalmatia County, because such facilities raise the reputation of the entire destination. For now, we can only speak on the basis of what the new owners and investors announced, and announced its opening in early April, and we believe that - given the many accompanying facilities that the hotel should have - it will be a high quality hotel that will operate year round. Stella pointed out.

Thanks to this acquisition, Aminess will hire 200 new employees. "We are extremely happy and proud that we are further expanding the Aminess brand in Dalmatia. Makarska is an extremely important and desirable destination on the tourist map of Croatia, and we are sure that our hotel will contribute to the further qualitative development of the city of Makarska. The hotel will have 299 rooms, family rooms and suites, most of which will have a balcony overlooking the sea, and some a whirlpool. The complex will have three outdoor pools, and a wellness and SPA center that will cover 1.600 m2 and include an indoor pool and gym. In addition, the hotel will have three restaurants, a lobby bar, three pool bars, as well as a rooftop bar and three congress halls.

Sun hotels under the brand Bluesun Hotels & Resorts operate and develop hotels and resorts in exceptional tourist destinations in Croatia, and manage 11 hotels along the Adriatic coast, one camp and one leased facility, with a total of 2.973 accommodation units, making them one of the largest hotel companies in Croatia.

Sun hotels in 2022 will invest approximately EUR 44,2 million in raising the quality and services in its facilities in Tučepi, Brela, Starigrad Paklenica and Bol on Brač.

According to the investment plan for individual facilities / hotels in 2022, 13,6 million euros will be invested in Elaphusa Hotel in Bol, Soline in Brela 9,7 million, Maestral in Brela 6,7 million, Kaštelet in Bol 2,5 million, Borak in Bol 7,9 million, Neptune in Tucepi 0,15 million. It will invest 2,9m euros in employee accommodation, a total of 44,2m euros this year.

Sunce also has a 50% stake in a joint venture with the global tourism group TUI AG with which they have a premium hotel TUI Blue Adriatic in Tučepi with 161 accommodation units.
