Jadran hotels Rijeka signed a contract with Marriott International for the opening of the first Tribute Portfolio hotel in Rijeka, marking a significant milestone in hotel industry in this part of the country. Through this cooperation, Jadran hotels Rijeka confirm their dedication to providing extraordinary experiences to travelers coming to Croatia. 

The renovated Hotel Jadran, with 70 rooms, plans to open its doors, as part of the Tribute Portfolio brand, at the end of 2024. It will offer an extraordinary combination of tradition and contemporary elements, promising top service and unforgettable experiences to its guests. Tribute Portfolio Hotel Jadran will also stand out for its excellent gastronomic offer and become a desirable destination for both local residents and tourists from all over the world. 

The contract was signed by Silvija Lovreta, Vice President of Development for Central and Southeastern Europe at Marriott International, and Kristian Šustar, CEO and member of the Management Board of Jadran Hotel Rijeka. This solemn act, of exceptional importance for the development of tourism in the City of Rijeka, was personally welcomed by the Mayor of Rijeka, Marko Filipović.  

"Today's signing of the contract is the beginning of an extraordinary journey through cooperation with Marriott International, in order to present the Tribute Portfolio brand in Croatia. This cooperation symbolizes our commitment to launch a significant investment cycle with hotels from our portfolio. The Tribute Portfolio, the first among them, will be adapted to the highest tourist and hotel standards. Considering the importance of investments in hotels in Rijeka, our hotel group plans to enrich the tourist offer of this beautiful city. With a constant commitment to excellence, sustainability and authentic experiences, we are ready to set new standards in the hotel industry in Rijeka.", he said Christian Šustar.

The cooperation between Jadran Hotel Rijeka and Marriott International highlights the growing desire for international hotel brands in the region, while confirming the continuous expansion within the Marriott portfolio in Croatia. This cooperation will significantly contribute to the diversity and quality of the tourist offer in Kvarner, as well as the entire country. 

Jadran hotels Rijeka, owned by the companies Gold Tree Group and Gold Tree Hospitality, and in partnership with the investment group WH Europe, are the leading hotel group in the area of ​​Rijeka and the wider city ring. They manage six hotels with over 730 accommodation units and a camp with 300 plots of different categories. Some of their facilities have been operating continuously for more than 135 years. 

With the arrival of new owners, an ambitious strategic plan aimed at the transformation and improvement of the portfolio and continuous growth and development, as well as new acquisitions, was formed and is in the initial phase of implementation. They recently acquired the Grand Hotel Bonaviu, which was the first important step forward in their vision of strengthening the development of Rijeka as an established tourist destination.
