7 more days until the Boll FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Croatia in Međimurje

We have a week left until the biggest sports event in Međimurje, more precisely until April 27, when the speedway returns to the Milenium Stadium track. Woffinden, Zmarzlik, Bewley, Vaculik, Holder, but also the well-known Madsen, Lambert, Michelsen and Žagar arrive at the first race of the world championship. 

"Croatia is beautiful, not only have I been racing here for years, but I also perform as a DJ" said Tai Woffinden, three-time world champion and DJ. "Last year I had the honor of performing at Forestland, where I am returning this year as well, but I am also arriving in Croatia for a vacation with my family." 

Last year, in the first race, Woffinden finished fifth, and his season was marked by injuries: "I'm looking forward to the start of the season, the first round is crucial, I'm in shape and ready for a great race. Music relaxes me, producing, DJing takes my mind off racing and they somehow complement each other. Both of them involve performing in front of people, which I am no stranger to and what I love and what I live for."  continues Woffinden.

For the third time WILD CARD in Croatia is also Matej Žagar, a Slovenian driver whose home track has become precisely this one in Donji Kraljevac, at the Milenium Stadium: "I've been driving here for 19 years and the track is really great, I'd say the best for racing!" Last year, Žagar did not enter the semi-finals, while in 2022 he fought for the podium. "I'm preparing a lot, training and I'm happy to be back in Croatia. I received the invitation two days after my birthday and at the same second I accepted the opportunity to be part of the world of speedway Grand Prix racing again! On this occasion, I invite all sports lovers, fans, from Slovenia, but also from Croatia and beyond, to come and cheer on the race on April 27 at Milenium Stadium!"

A permanent member of the SGP lineup this season is Dominik Kubera, a young Polish driver who spent the spring camp in Croatia with the Orlen Motor Lublin team: "I feel good, I'm ready for the start of the season and I'm looking forward to the Speedway Grand Prix in Croatia.

This is a new big experience for me, I have to train, study and prepare a lot in order to be able to show what I know." His teammate Jan Kvech from the Czech Republic: "I'm ready for the season, I feel really good on the bike and I can't wait for the race. In Croatia, I have already driven qualifying races, various championships, but this is the first time I come to the Grand Prix and I know that I will have a lot of fans because we are still close to the Czech Republic, but I promise that I will do my best!" 

The program at the Milenium Stadium will be designed for the whole family, especially the youngest members. A fun "Fan Zone" awaits you, where drivers will sign autographs and take photos with fans, animators will paint children's faces, and you can enjoy inflatables and watch a motorcycle exhibition.

Games and quizzes and a Monster energy zone with a DJ have been prepared. This year, the SGP mascot "Speedy" will also entertain the children, and admission for children under 12 is free in all stands except the main one.

A sold-out stadium with 7000 spectators is expected, for whom a magnificent fireworks display has been prepared at the end of the race, which will celebrate the three best drivers.
