During 12 unforgettable days, from July 12 to 23, visitors have a unique opportunity to peek behind the facades of some of Zagreb's most beautiful palaces and experience the magical ambiance of these unique upper town spaces.

But there is also a lot of good urban entertainment waiting for them, because in Dvorište they can refresh themselves with delicious snacks, refreshing sips and have a good time with first-class musical performers and live concerts from jazz to pop.

"A real urban cool event with soul" i "A project like Zagreb has never had before" are just some of the superlatives that accompany this event from the beginning. In addition to the unavoidable one of a woman from Zagreb who writes how she feels in Dvorište "a tourist in his own city".

Two prestigious awards for the most creative and innovative project in Croatian tourism speak volumes about the attractiveness and success of the Dvorište cultural and touristic attraction. Because of all that, and because of much more, get hooked on Dvorišta this July too!

Locations

The courtyards bring two locations premiered in 2019 as part of the National House of HAZU: the upper representative courtyard on Opatička (Opatička 18) and the lower, hidden and special one, overlooking Radićeva Street (Dvoranski prečac 1).

Last year, as part of the Courtyard, the Courtyard of the Observatory in Popovo Tower (on the top of Opatička), as well as the Archaeological Garden, the northern courtyard of the Zagreb City Museum (with an entrance from the Courtyard of the Observatory) was discovered for the first time.

This year, after several years, the Atrium of the Zagreb City Museum with the oldest sundial wall clock in Zagreb (Opatička 20) is returning to the Dvorišta itinerary after several years.

And there is last year's hit-location again, the beautiful Erdödy-Keglević Palace Courtyard at Ćirilometodska 4, which today houses one of the residences of the Faculty of Law, and was once the last home of the leader of the Croatian Revival, Ljudevit Gaj, and the site of his famous Illyrian printing house.

Music

From the very beginning, in addition to entertainment, stories and ambience, Dvorište has been recognized as a synonym for good music. Matija Cvek, Antonela Đinđić, Gordana Marković, Lu Jakelić, Ivana Galić, Matej Mudrovčić, Zsa Zsa and many others went through the rich programs of Dvorišta over nine years.

"And while some other manifestations turn to DJs and simpler programming solutions, Dvorište remains faithful to its agenda and maintains the status of a real summer stage for young musical talents. Pava Ćorić, Noa Rupčić, Vjekoslav Vostrel, Jakob Grubišak, Nika Adamović, Lucija & Luka, Karla Krmpotić, it is difficult to list them all. But it is important to emphasize the following: we are talking about as many as 60 musical programs, that is, as many as 5 parallel concerts every evening for all 12 days. And few other similar ones can boast of such data manifestation", he says Vedran Galić from GAD PRODUCTION.

During the duration of the Dvorište, the locations will resound with high-quality music and excellent performers. A large part of Gornji grad, however, is under renovation.

"For this reason, numerous locations, where Dvorište took place in the past years, are currently unavailable. That is why we are happy that, compared to last year, we were able to return the Atrium of the City of Zagreb Museum to the Dvorište program again, with which we have been developing a successful collaboration for many years.", he says Slavica Olujić Klapčić from KATAPULT PROMOTION.

Free admission

"Dvorište is one of Zagreb's most and most entertaining summer cultural and tourist events in our city, which is adored by everyone, both the people of Zagreb and their guests. Namely, with a suitable and decent program, Dvorište encourages spending time outdoors, providing all visitors with peace, relaxation and pleasant summer evenings ", he says Martina Bienenfeld, director of the TZ of the City of Zagreb.

The daily programs will be published a few days in advance on the event's social networks, so the organizers invite all interested parties to follow them. The event is open every day from 18:00 to 24:00, and entrance to all areas is - free!
