Croatian tourist agency i Slovenian tourist organization launched a joint promotional campaign "Naturally Yours – taste, feel, Love", which aims to strengthen the positioning of Croatia and Slovenia as attractive year-round destinations on a large and important market Now. It is about a campaign for which she secured the funds European Comission, which are assigned via European Travel Commission (European Travel Commission – ETC), that is, through the program Co-branding of Promotional Campaigns.

"We have excellent cooperation with our colleagues from the Slovenian Tourist Organization, as well as the European Travel Commission, which financially supports the activities of this joint promotional campaign. Croatia and Slovenia have behind them many successfully realized projects in joint representation on distant markets such as China and Australia, and on this occasion we will to emphasize to America the parts of the offer related to natural heritage, active tourism, eno-gastronomy, culture and sustainable travel. We are sure that this year we will further bring our countries closer to numerous American travel lovers, but also to Europe as a whole as the most popular travel destination in global level", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of HTZ, adding that the HTZ Representative Office in New York plays a major role in the implementation of activities.

The campaign includes a joint subpage on ETC's official website VisitEurope.com, digital advertising activities in renowned American media Conde Nast Traveler i Wanderlust, as well as on their accompanying platforms and profiles on social networks. The campaign foresees a separate one YouTube campaign for which a joint promotional video will be produced, while at the end of the year a joint workshop with the most important agents and partners on the American market is scheduled as the final activity.

"The USA is the most important distant market for Slovenian tourism, where the Slovenian Tourism Organization carries out targeted and continuous activities. The above refers to the global digital campaign, cooperation with the Association of American Tour Operators USTOA, luxury tourism associations Virtuoso and Signature, and there are also cooperation with media such as National Geographic and CNN, while in Slovenia we host American tour operators and journalists. Luka Dončić, our basketball star and ambassador of Slovenian tourism, opens the door to the American market in Slovenia. In cooperation with HTZ and ETC, we continue to build on and intensify activities on the American market, and we look forward to joint promotion in the USA, which will certainly further strengthen the already successful tourism results of both countries", she said Maja Pak, director of the Slovenian Tourist Organization.

Let's add that the US market for Croatian and Slovenian tourism turned out to be the most important distant market from which these two countries generate the most arrivals and overnight stays. That's right in Croatia, according to system data eVisitor, over 190 arrivals and more than 503 overnight stays have been achieved from the US market so far, which compared to the same period last year represents a growth of 54% in arrivals and 34% in overnight stays, while by the end of the year it is expected to exceed the results from in the record year of 2019, when Americans in Croatia achieved over 655 arrivals and 1,8 million overnight stays.

On the other hand, the Americans are in Slovenia achieved almost 2023 thousand arrivals and 18 thousand overnight stays by April 43, which represents a growth of 68% in arrivals and 62% in overnight stays, while by the end of the year it is expected to achieve the same or an even better result than that of the record year 2019, when almost 149 arrivals and more than 323 overnight stays by American tourists were recorded in Slovenia.
