An early booking campaign has been launched in the most important markets

During preparations for the next tourist year, Croatian tourist agency launched a promotional campaign aimed at encouraging early bookings and travel in 2024. Among the markets covered by the campaign are those from which Croatian tourism generates the most tourist traffic, but also those that respond best when it comes to early bookings, namely Germany, Austria, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Belgium. The campaign will be implemented until the end of February 2024 on the most important booking platforms of the mentioned countries.
 
"Earlier travel planning, or earlier bookings, represent a trend that is slowly but surely returning, especially in the context of more favorable prices. We can remember how trips were booked in the middle of the COVID crisis in last minute arrangements, but as the market recovered, the trend returned as well earlier booking. For this reason, we have decided to additionally encourage activities aimed at a faster and simpler selection of Croatian destinations for vacations. Our goal is to strengthen Croatia's position as a safe and high-quality tourist destination that will be one of the first choices of foreign guests when designing their ideal annual rest", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board.
 
The campaign highlights tourist products for which the most interest is expressed on the mentioned markets, namely natural beauty, culture, nautical and active vacations. The promotion of activities will be realized through offline, online and social media, and the added value of these promotional activities is the promotion of Croatia through landing pages that are exclusively dedicated to our country and are located on platforms where users can choose and book accommodation.
