More than half a million overnight stays were achieved in Zagreb, and a new promotional campaign was launched

The promotional campaign of the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb and Turkish Airlines targets the markets of the USA and South Korea

According to data from the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb and the e-Visitor system, from the beginning of the year to mid-April, Zagreb had the highest number of arrivals and overnight stays in Croatia.

Thus, 238.982 arrivals and 512.738 overnight stays were recorded, which represents an increase of 29% in arrivals and 19% in overnight stays compared to the same period last year. Among foreign guests, the most overnight stays were made by guests from Italy, followed by those from Germany, the USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

Considering the big comeback guests from the USA, which in the current part of the year achieved 58% more arrivals and 32% more overnight stays, as well as increasing renewed interest guests from South Korea and other Asian countries, the Zagreb Tourist Board launched a new promotional campaign in cooperation with Turkish Airlines in the mentioned markets.

Thus, by using the strong communication network of Turkish Airlines, as a strategic partner of the Zagreb tourist board, the recognition of Zagreb as an attractive tourist destination is significantly increased. Activities as part of the campaign are carried out during April on all digital channels of this multiple award-winning airline with the aim of mutual promotion in the mentioned markets.
