Last night at Opatija the final festive evening was held in the beautiful setting of the Kvarner Hotel's Crystal Hall Days of Croatian tourism as part of which were assigned i Annual Croatian Tourist Awards, i.e. awards for the best in Croatian tourism in 2024.
These are awards that they award jointly Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Croatian Tourist Board i Croatian Chamber of Economy in a total of 15 main categories, including those for DMK - tourist arrangement of the year, gastronomic experience of the year, hotel of the year (award for the best small and large hotel), campsite of the year, marina of the year, charter of the year, and there are also awards in the active, cultural, business, rural and health tourism.
In front of more than 1100 participants, the tourist destination of the year, i.e. the new one champion of Croatian tourism was proclaimed Porec, the best tourist event was declared 500. Krk Fair - Lovrečeva, gastronomic experience was declared Dalmatian brunch.
They were declared the best large hotels Grand Park Hotel Rovinj i Amadria Park Hotel Milenij, while in the category of small hotels, the title of the best went to her Maslina Resort i Boutique&Design Hotel Navis.

"Anton Štifanić" annual award and lifetime achievement award
In the People in Tourism category, the Annual Award was awarded "Anton Štifanić" - tkindergartens/institutions/associations Catering school Opatija i Folk ensemble Jedinstvo Split.
Annual award "Anton Štifanić" - an individual he won Vladimir Škrobo – Bajo, the owner of Baranja House, while they Lifetime Achievement Award won Vlado Mis, director of the Rab destination and advisor to the Management Board of Imperial Riviera dd, a member of the Valamar Group i Vojko Pleština, president of the Management Board of Fiscalis doo and president of the Management Board of tourist festivals Interstas, ITF-CRO and KEA-CRO.
