At the largest gathering of the camping industry from November 8 to 10, 2022 in Šibenik all key people from Croatian camping will gather, but also those from the entire region and the EU. Croatian campsites in the green and digital transition can become an even more attractive tourist product, as shown by the interest in this year's gathering
Croatian Camping Union will gather leading representatives of the Croatian camping industry at the 16th Congress of Croatian Camping, with support Croatian National Tourist Board i Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
At the key annual gathering of the camping industry, the participants will reflect on the results of this year's season and will talk about the current topics of Croatian camping and domestic tourism in general, primarily related to the segment of sustainability, green and digital development and in the context of the workforce in tourism, with an emphasis on attracting and retaining employees and motivating the upcoming generations to work in tourism. The rich program includes lectures on key broadcasting markets and promotion, examples of good practice in camping and the possibility of non-reimbursed financing, etc.
"The specificity of our congress is a combination of the professional and exhibition-fair part, and extremely high-quality domestic and foreign speakers and a large number of participants, tourism workers, decision-makers and representatives of related activities will have the opportunity to exchange experiences about the best practices and trends that await us in the future, with an emphasis on the green transition and the sustainable and digital future of the sector. Such a sustainable and digital future represents the very essence of camping products and is the key to strengthening the position of camping as one of the most successful and attractive tourist products in Europe."he said Adriano Palman, director of the Camping Association of Croatia.
This year's 16th Croatian Camping Congress, will be held in Amadria Park in Hotel IvanIn Šibenik, November 8 to 10, 2022.
Traditionally, the best camps will be awarded special awards for the quality of the camps - Croatia's Best Campsites, OK mini camps, as well as the Slovenian award for the quality of the camps Naj Kamp Adria 2022.
The offer of domestic and foreign manufacturers of glamping tents and mobile homes, with new models for 2023, will be highlighted. In addition to them, numerous manufacturers and representatives of accompanying equipment for the camping industry, which has become richer in recent years and has great export potential for domestic companies, will present their offer.
Representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will present the Strategy for the Development of Sustainable Tourism in the Republic of Croatia to all gathered, and foreign experts from the German ADAC, Leading Campings and other relevant institutions will talk about markets and expectations, and present examples of best practices in quality workforce management in their countries.
Furthermore, Campmaster, the first international European graduate course in sustainable camping management, will be presented, as well as the project of the brand new greenfield camp Aminess Avalon 5*.
On the last day of the congress, a large round table will be held with experts and representatives of the HR departments of leading tourism companies, and on the same day, pupils and students of hospitality and tourism schools from the county will be invited to participate and tour the congress, which will give them the opportunity to learn more about the attractiveness of the work camping and gain additional motivation for employment and career development in tourism.
