This year, the National Forum of Heritage Interpreters (NFIB) will be held on October 28 (Saturday) at the "Krka" Eco Campus in Puljani.
The forum aims to bring together people such as tour guides, professional educators, conservationists in national parks and nature parks, curator-guides, heads of interpretation centers, tourism and museum staff, academia, private renters, regional and local government staff to presented examples of good practice and new trends in heritage interpretation, culture, tourism, nature conservation and marketing.
Through this year's program, the organizers wish to present as many aspects of heritage interpretation as possible, which includes interpretation planning, interpretation writing and interpretation guidance.
We will start the program already in the morning, and end it in the evening when we move to Šibenik. In the first part of the program, all our members, both institutional and individual, will have the opportunity to present their interpretation project, their field of activity or the challenges they face in their work.
In the first part of the program, the projects of heritage interpreters from Croatia will be presented in the form of 15-minute presentations. In the second part of the program, a tour of the new tourist gem of Krka National Park - Eco Campus "Krka" in Puljani is planned. There will also be a tour of the Archaeological Collection, which exhibits objects found in the excavations in the area of the Roman military camp Burnum, the Temple of Nature, a natural history collection where the rich natural heritage of this protected area is presented and interpreted, and the Nature Laboratory, an educational center for primary school-aged children. .
