The city of Zagreb launched a pilot service of free public transport in the pedestrian zone of the city center. Transportation by small electric vehicles 'Fulir' is available from June 15 and provides citizens and tourists with an environmentally friendly way of movement.

"Fulir is more than a transport service. It is a step towards a more sustainable, accessible and friendly Zagreb that will make everyday life easier for many and improve the quality of life in the center", said the mayor Tomislav Tomasevic clarifying that the service is primarily intended for older people, people with reduced mobility and people with disabilities, but it will also be available to other citizens and tourists.

Small electric cars with a capacity of five passengers plus a driver are available for use from 8 a.m. to 20 p.m., on weekends and holidays until the end of October. The service is free and can be ordered by phone at 091/1111-425 and 091/1111-426. Drivers answer calls themselves to arrange locations and routes.

The name 'Fulir' was chosen in honor of the unforgettable character from Zagreb's most famous film 'Tko pjeva zlo ne misli', and the concept was inspired by the successful model 'Cavalier' in Ljubljana. The transport service is provided by Zagreb electric tram doo
