For the first time, rural tourism facilities can be promoted free of charge on domestic and foreign markets

The Croatian Rural Tourism Association invites rural tourism service providers to register in the national Digital Catalog of Rural Tourism in order to promote themselves free of charge in domestic and foreign markets. 

All agricultural producers who provide catering and tourist services, such as tasting rooms, wine shops, wineries, picnic areas, ethno and eco villages, rural accommodation facilities and the like, can enroll. 

Digital catalog is published on the website of the Croatian National Tourist Board, which translates data on the offer of rural tourism in the Republic of Croatia into many world languages ​​and becomes available to potential guests and tourists, as well as travel agencies from around the world. 

"By enrolling in the Digital Catalog, rural tourism facilities can be promoted for free for the first time on domestic and foreign markets, which they should definitely use. Croatian rural tourism offers everything that modern guests and tourists are looking for - locally grown healthy food, excellent local drinks, getting to know the cultural heritage of the Croatian countryside and socializing with the hosts. Trends show a growing interest of guests and tourists to discover rural Croatia, so enrollment is important because of good preparation  tourist season. In order for the rural tourism offer to be adequately presented and promoted at the national level, it is important that as many service providers as possible are entered in the national Digital Catalog. Of the estimated 1.000 rural tourism facilities operating in Croatia, 55 have been entered in the Digital Catalog so far, of which 33 are from the Central Croatia and Slavonia cluster. 20 objects from Istria, Lika and Dalmatian clusters have been registered. 

Anyone interested in registering in the Digital Catalog can do the same via the web application moj-seoski.hr managed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. With adequate preparation, registration in the application is simple and lasts from 15-20 minutes, during which data are entered and documents and photographs are attached.

The digital catalog of rural tourism is a joint project of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian Tourist Board.

This activity is part of the project "Professional training for digital promotion of rural tourism in the domestic and foreign markets" which the Association implements with the financial support of the Ministry and operational support of local tourist boards and action groups and members of the Association to educate and enroll service providers .
