REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR MEETEX 2024, THE LARGEST INTERNATIONAL GATHERING OF CONGRESS AND BUSINESS TOURISM REPRESENTATIVES IN CROATIA
After the successful fifth edition of MEETEX, held this year in March, registrations for next year are open.
At the last edition, this largest international B2B gathering of congress and business tourism professionals in Croatia brought together more than 160 participants from all over the world and resulted in more than 2.000 meetings with exclusively Croatian stakeholders of this lucrative tourism niche.
CROATIA IS AN INCREASINGLY ATTRACTIVE DESTINATION FOR BUSINESS TOURISM
This is an indicator that Croatia is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for the organization of various conferences, events, business meetings and experiences. We were able to witness this this year as well, because a number of new attractive events were organized in Croatia - Zagreb, Rovinj, Split, Dubrovnik and Opatija are just some of the host cities that hosted a large amount of business events.
The business tourism segment is extremely important for the development of tourism at the destination throughout the year. Business guests come in spring and autumn, that is, outside the main season, thus extending it in a very high-quality way. Their consumption is several times higher than the consumption of vacation guests and they generate up to 30% of the total traffic in tourism.
In addition to natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, gastronomy and good connections, Croatia offers a number of opportunities for the organization of various business events and trips.
That's why gatherings are like MEETEX important for the industry and a great opportunity to connect. Next year MEETEX will be held from March 12 to 14 in Zagreb. The news is that this largest international business exchange in Croatia will be held at a new location, so the host in 2024 will be the Hilton Zagreb Conference & Event Center, where it will be the central point of connection between domestic ironers and foreign visiting customers.
