To date, over 12.000 facilities have received the Safe stay in Croatia label, and some hotels have introduced additional security standards.
Thus, over 200 hotels and camps in Croatia have expressed interest in obtaining the prestigious Swiss safety certificate SGS.
Namely, UPUHH in cooperation with the Croatian Camping Association (KUH) signed a cooperation agreement with SGS, a world leader in the field of certification based in Switzerland. Pursuant to this contract, the members of UPUHH and KUH are provided with a more favorable price for obtaining the SGS safety and cleanliness certificate, as part of their "In partnership with SGS" program.
SGS has developed a verification program called "In partnership with SGS" which allows hotels and campsites, if they meet the requirements, in a relatively simple online verification process to receive a label confirming compliance with their standards of safety and cleanliness.
Based on the signed agreement, the members of UPUHH and KUH are provided with a more favorable price in the amount of € 99,75 per facility for obtaining the SGS safety and cleanliness certificate, within their program "In partnership with SGS". The conditions for obtaining the label, ie the criteria for obtaining the label, include the categories: Management, Social Distancing Measures and Cleaning and Disinfection protocols.
Also, all facilities that meet the criteria for obtaining the SGS certificate have the ability to use the "co-branded" mark / logo "In partnership with SGS", which is certainly a strong marketing tool and confirmation of security protocols.
SGS is the world's leading company for inspections, verifications, testing and certification, and is recognized as a global "benchmark" in these areas. The company employs more than 94.000 people and has a network of 2.600 offices and laboratories worldwide. In the field of tourism, SGS cooperates with the Accor group, Radisson hotels, NH Hotels group, HRS and others, and soon its certificate will be carried by Croatian hotels and camps.
