Plitvice Lakes National Park is available on the world-famous platform Skylinewebcams. Thousands of cameras supported by this platform around the world have multi-million views every day, because with just a few clicks you can follow the world's beauties live in thousands of destinations.

Our most famous national park has had a camera that used to monitor the lake and the Great Falls live from the most attractive viewpoint in the Park, and in this way this beauty was available to the whole world. The link for this camera was relatively hidden on the Park's website under the section Multimedia/video stream and was not accessible to many website visitors. However, with this new camera that has been installed to the front page and on which the number of people currently watching as well as the total number of people who have looked at the camera is visible at any time, the reach will be significantly greater.

"It is known that the Plitvice Lakes National Park switched to a new visitor management system in 2019, which was also one of UNESCO's conditions, the reduction of the number of visitors, so that the former unbearable crowds have become a thing of the past for us. With the new management system and enrichment offers of our restaurants, we have provided visitors with not only a more pleasant stay, but also the possibility of a longer and better quality stay, and thus higher spending by visitors. Croatian tourism has been a slave to numbers for years, although the quality, i.e. the sustainability of tourism, is often questionable. In this regard, we are on the right track. Namely, the average consumption of our visitors is about 30 percent higher, and that was the goal, to achieve the same or greater financial effect with fewer visitors. The future of tourism lies in the rate of sustainability, not in the rate of increase in the number of arrivals." concluded the director of Plitvice Lakes National Park, Tomislav Kovačević.
