HrTurizam is proud to start a new chapter - HrTurizam Novine.
While most are moving from print to online, we are going in the opposite direction, from online media to print edition.
After over 14.000 articles on the portal hrturizam.hr in almost nine years (at the beginning of December we celebrate the 9th year of our loud thinking on the media scene) we decided to make a new step - hrturism and in the printed edition.
From the age of 16, newspapers were more than just paper for me - they became a ritual. With espresso, and later the smell of tobacco, that was my time – my "5 minutes" for absorbing information, thinking, and quietly debating with myself about topics that intrigued me.
That reading ritual still follows me, even though I'm in my forties. For me, information is not only a tool, but the key to personal and professional growth. This process of lifelong learning helps me stay abreast of events that shape our world, Croatia and, of course, tourism, which is my passion and profession.
That is why I am proud to announce a new stage of development of the HrTurizam platform - entering the world of print! The move to a print edition is a natural step forward, a continuation of our mission to continue to be the voice of the profession and a source of information for all those who shape the future of tourism.
Thank you to everyone who follows, supports and shares the passion for this industry. This is for you - because tourism does not happen by chance, but strategically. Goran Rihelj, editor-in-chief of the HrTurizam media platform
The idea of a printed edition of HrTurizma is not new. In fact, it was part of the platform's long-term development plan even before the portal saw the light of day.
The first HrTurizam Newspaper was supposed to be presented on April 02.04.2020, XNUMX. at our DayOne conference, but the pandemic changed everything - from canceling the conference to stopping this project.
Today, with nine years between the first idea and its realization. These are the charms of entrepreneurship - never a straight line, but a curve full of challenges, ups and downs. But the key is to know the goal and persistently push towards it, despite all the obstacles.
And as my informal mentor, Saša Tenodi, would say: Consistency and persistence are the keys to success.
