Premiere of the promotional film Central Istria at every time of the year/ Central Istria All seasons

Central Istria Tourist Board proudly presented a new, fourth promotional film called "Central Istria at any time of the year/ Central Istria All Seasons", which shows the beauty and diversity of this region throughout all seasons, and which was realized in order to position the destination as a year-round destination. The film, which was realized by the production company Level 52 Produkcija, depicts fascinating natural landscapes, adrenaline adventures and the rich cultural and gastronomic offer of central Istria. Through striking scenes of cycling, medieval towns, olive groves and vineyards, viewers will discover how central Istria is a destination that offers unforgettable experiences regardless of the time of year.

The aim of the film is to attract tourists who are looking for authentic trips and experiences, offering them the opportunity to explore not only natural beauty, but also the core of Istrian tradition through unique local stories, gastronomy and rich cultural and historical heritage. The film evokes the warmth and hospitality of the local population, while dynamic scenes of adventure activities such as cycling and swimming emphasize central Istria as an ideal destination for nature lovers and active vacations throughout the year.

Furthermore, the film will be submitted to prestigious tourist film competitions, where it will have the opportunity to compete with the best international productions. These applications will not only promote central Istria on a global level, but will also contribute to strengthening the recognition of the region as an attractive and unique tourist destination. Success in such competitions will further increase the interest of tourists, but also affirm the quality of this promotional film as a tool for presenting the natural and cultural heritage of central Istria.

The premiere of the film was held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Krulčić Distillery in Pazin, and was attended by representatives of LGUs within the TZSI and the head of the Administrative Department for Tourism of the Istrian County, Mrs. Nada Prodan Marković.

The "Central Istria All Seasons" film crew consists of author and director Sanel Isanović, Daniel Janko as editor and colorist, and Antonio Zulijani and Daniel Janko as cameramen. Sanel Isanović produced music, sound recording, mixing and mastering, lighting and gaffer. The text was written by Marko Brezičević, the voice in the song is Valnea Bulić, and the narrator is Claire Coyle. Make-up artists on the film were Nina Rabar, Tea Flego and Valentina Štokovac. The scenography and costumes were created by Kristina Nefat, while the assistants were Jana Nefat Ružić. The drone operators are Sanel Isanović and Antonio Zulijani.

Previous TZSI promotional films achieved notable results at various tourist film festivals around the world

The Tourist Board of Central Istria has already achieved success with previous promotional films, two of which won numerous international awards. The film "Central Istria - Dare to Explore" (2020) won silver at The Golden City Gate ITB in Berlin, first place at the TRAVEL FILM International Film Festival in Russia, and gold at the World Media Festival in Hamburg in the Tourism and Travel Media category , with a special jury award for the best music. At the prestigious American festival The Telly Awards, the film won first place in the promotional tourist film category, and was also awarded at Tourfilm Riga in Latvia, and at the local Zagreb Tourfilm Festival, where it won first place in the domestic competition and third place in the international competition.

The second promotional film "Authentic Istra – Good mood / Good food" (2022) won second place at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa in Cape Town, a silver medal at the New York Festivals TV & Film Award sponsored by The Telly Awards, and first place at The Golden City Gate and The World Media Festival in Germany. The film was also awarded at the Zagreb Tourfilm Festival as the best Croatian film in the "Tourist destination/region" category.

A promotional film was also made in 2021 Central Istria – Dare to Explore Outdoors.
